The Strategic Planning Committee identifies strategic information technology issues, facilitates, develops and decides on strategy to address these issues, approves state technology policy and standards, and provides guidance in making decisions and prioritizing enterprise IT planning for the Executive Branch. The Committee also serves to catalyze development, facilitate interaction and integrate strategic plans and processes between state departments, divisions, boards and commissions.
